The world is drowning in distraction; trapped in the endless loop of the Dopa pandemic. Scrolling, consuming, chasing stimulation, no one notices that their attention; their very life, is slipping away.Until a dream calls Rumi inward.A warning. An alarm. A call to finally face her thought demons; to face herself. The Quf trail winds through the Seven Valleys of Love, each valley stripping away a part of her; her beliefs, her identifications, even her perception of reality; until nothing remains but the scattered mind itself, waiting to dissolve. Waiting to be tamed. In this first volume, Rumi journeys through the first three valleys, guided by rascal sages, tricksters, and foolish lovers; Hafiz, Hegel, Laozi, Attar, Krishnamurti, and Carl Jung; each tearing apart what she thinks she knows. This book is a wake-up call, woven with psychology, Sufi, and Zen wisdom. This is not just a story; it is a mirror. Are you ready to face yourself?
Autorenporträt
I find it impossible to encapsulate a constantly fluctuating being in static words and nouns. I have been Investigating this question of who am I for years now. Am I my Job?Or my academic degree is what defines me? my political or metaphysical views? for they are also constantly changing. As Rumi discovered in the Quf trail, we are an ever changing Onion multi-layered masks; empty at the core. However, for some years i used to identify myself as an Psychology student, then found a more practical way to investigate my psyche and identified myself as a mystic. but that too was just another mask. until I finally find what could be closest to truth in Zen and Dzogchen. that behind that ever changing moods, thoughts and personalities there is a unborn background of being, a transparent field; am empty cognizance
