Dr. Sharma has been working in the sector of freshwater ecology, mainly in the field of pollution of heavy metals on biota, sediment and water. Besides books, he has many publications in the peer-reviewed international journals. Currently, he is working as Young International Scientist at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing.
