Bhaba Amatya es profesor titular de zoología en la Universidad de Tribhuvan (Nepal). Lleva veinte años dedicándose a la enseñanza y a la investigación de la vida animal. Ha publicado un libro sobre peces de acuario en Nepal y varios artículos de investigación en revistas nacionales e internacionales. También es revisor de revistas científicas.
