If you desire attention, adrenaline, or the adoration of the world; if you are embarrassed by your coat, or if you are tempted to leave it hanging in the back of your wardrobe closet behind your more contemporary outfits, then attune your ear to our Father, Who quietly encourages you: "Be still, and know that I am God" (D&C 101:16). These essays are intended to make it easier for you to charge your coat with enthusiasm, for the fire of God will be manifest to you by holy angels whose own garments have become pure and clean as the result of their comprehensive understanding of the power of the Atonement. This transformative process promises to likewise endow you with countenances that have become as lightning, and with glory beyond description.
Autorenporträt
Phil Hudson and his wife Jan have 7 children and over twenty-five grandchildren. They enjoy spending time with their family at their cabin nestled in the Selkirk Mountains, on the shore of Priest Lake, the crown jewel of North Idaho. Phil had a successful dental practice in Spokane, Washington for 43 years, before retiring in 2015. He has an eclectic mix of hobbies, and enjoys the out of doors. He always finds time, however, to record his thoughts on his laptop, and understands Isaac Asimov's response when he was asked: If you knew that you had only 10 minutes left to live, what would you do?" He answered: "I'd type faster." Phil received the inspiration to write this book while he and Jan were serving as missionaries for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in the Kingdom of Tonga. While there, they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
