Autorenporträt
Always a painter, and always a writer, Shirley Mason raised children, earned a private pilot's license, and returned to college to become a computer programmer/analyst. Computer languages and systems sparked new channels for writing: some tight and controlled, some loose and wandering, but often providing suggestions for story techniques. All of the arts are in some way related, thus it is natural for Ms. Mason to write, paint, and practice silver smithing.
