The variability in climatic conditions from the past few decades impose a great threat to the civilizations and socio-economic status in terms of extreme events occurrences, changing landscape and by changing local climatic parameters. Hill torrents of Suleiman mountains remained famous for their quick and severe response. South Punjab was disastrously effected by torrential flooding in September 2012. The designed scheme opens with brief description of flash/torrent floods with management practices. The work describes participatory approach to encapsulate the reality of the locals in a bundle of numerical functions to substantiate the risk and vulnerability. The use of satellite data, hydro-logic and hydraulic schemes are combined for the conversion of disastrous energy of the event into a fruitful energy. The combined approach proves the effectiveness of modern technology for the proper management of natural disaster (Torrential Flood).
