Debut author and illustrator, Toni Michale (pronounced like Michelle), grew up moving around in a military family going to 7 different schools growing up. No matter where she was, Toni has always had a love for animals and read constantly about them. Toni taught herself to draw from an early age and loved sketching animals.Over the years Toni Michale survived family and health issues drawing strength from God's help. After moving to Tennessee for a new job, a serious injury as a veterinary technician led Toni to make a lifestyle change, but that did not stop her. She was a substitute teacher for several years working with special education children. She took her therapy dogs to visit the kids, encouraging them to read, learn life skills and about the love of animals.With God's guidance, Toni has been a Natural K9 Behavioral trainer for the last 20+ years. Feeling God directing her to write, Toni has been developing many books and illustrations which she wants to share with you. Follow Toni Michale on her writing and illustrating journey.Flashlight - The Mystery Gift is the first in the Flashlight Series with many more animal stories in Toni's head and heart.
