Jason grew up in the United States as a child of the 1970s and 1980s. He survived both the austerity measures of a recession, and the decadence of a yuppy decade. Yet, no matter what the next ten year cycle would bring, America was still recognizable. Raised mainly in Massachusetts, and other parts of the Northeast, he was an active kid who enjoyed the traditional values of his proud culture. America was a place to behold, and though not perfect, it certainly was a place to live a dream. He wasn't a slave to the legalism of the day, and understood that in some way he had a relationship with a Christian God. However, it would be many years later before he clearly understood the implications of the sacrifices of his Savior. As an adult, he found disappointment with the deletion of the foundational pillars of society. Where the culture was once guided by Truth, it now seemed to have no Scriptural guide at all. He found it mesmerizing to navigate through the division and separation which pits neighbor against neighbor...in a system of zero accountability...all while idolizing prosperity... Having had his stints in Corporate America, he grew weary of the "every man for himself" attitude now pervasive in the business culture. On an everyday basis, he struggled to understand the obvious yet immovable system failures which just seemed to perpetuate. Jason finally found God, by reversing the removal of Him from everything that gives life meaning. Once he became aware, he was less and less distracted and started enjoying life - with God. The relationship shed light on the daily struggles we all face, in trying to live decent lives in a fallen world. It also reconciled painful moments caused by the imperfections imbedded in everyone. Finally it reestablished something foundational, that Jason was lacking and desperately needing. It helped him maintain a Christian perspective - despite the mundane, the ridiculous, and the absolutely fantastic.
