In the early 2000s, Swiss author and media artist Hans Peter Riegel was one of the first artists in the world to take a critical look at the Internet. Under the pseudonym SIS.TM, he investigated the dark side of the Internet before the term "darknet" was coined. Autorenporträt
Hans Peter Riegel studied photography, visual communication and art history. He works as an author, media artist, curator and filmmaker. He is uthor of the biographies of Joseph Beuys and Jörg Immendorff. Since 2020 he curates the international festival for digital art, DA Z - DIGITAL ARTS ZURICH.
