Hi, I'm Hannah :) I am a young adult born and raised in a tiny village in Austria, surrounded by forests and lush green hills. Between the roots of old trees, I discovered my passion for storytelling and have been writing ever since. As a speech and language therapist, I have had ample opportunity to learn about the workings of language and have since discovered that I need to learn so much more. This is why I moved my life across the globe to Taiwan, a beautiful island country with arguably the nicest people in the world, speaking the most difficult language. This new experience of being illiterate in my own home has led to a whole new appreciation for the written word and the characters and symbols we humans use to make ourselves understood. This book was written during my 1st and 2nd years studying in the sunny south of Taiwan, with inspiration calm and unwavering like the ocean.
