Flight of the Summerbird is a historical narrative of real events during WW II. It is written for you here as it was told to the author by the voyagers. The events described are true, although they are not found in history books. The places are real, but the names of the people are fictitious. Just call it verisimilitude.

Autorenporträt
Recording herein how the following was done would be telling. How it happened is not just unknown; it is probably unknowable - the algorithms' theme is certainly unknowable. The story, without telling how it was done, does reveal what was done. What was done was a violation, so to speak, of Isaac Asimov's Laws of Robotics. This project was so successful that instead of programming a slave, we created a conscious, self-aware entity, perhaps even a life of sorts.
