While posing as an American tourist, he secretly digs for clues and unearths some surprising secrets about the town and its inhabitants. But as his investigation twists and turns, the murders begin once more, and Joe is forced to confront the demons of his past.

Gold Coast author ANDY McD (aka Andrew McDermott) has resided in the sunshine state for over thirty years. His first novel (The Tiger Chase) was published in the US in 2002, which was followed up with the launch in San Diego and a book tour including LA and Las Vegas. More titles followed over the years. Andy is also the CEO of Publicious Book Publishing. 2022 sees the unveiling of the new brand ANDY McD, and the launch of Andy's exciting new novel set entirely on the Gold Coast called X. This will be followed by the launch of three more titles throughout the year, with more to come in 2023 and beyond.Andy was born in Nottingham, England. A naturalized Aussie, he has lived on the Gold Coast since immigrating to Australia in 1989 with his wife, Jane. He is a patron of the Gold Coast Writers Association, and he currently resides at Kirra Beach.
