The CRAD farm is located in the Menkao district, Maluku commune in Kinshasa/DRC. Several agro-pastoral activities take place there. It is located in an area subject to strong anthropic pressures. Despite these problems, the farmer has been able to cultivate plants from various ecosystems in a savannah environment subject to a regime of bush fires resulting from slash-and-burn agriculture, without any defensive measures to protect his crops. We were interested in these plants and the management practices used by the farmer that allowed him to conserve and acclimate such an impressive number of plant species. In the present study we limited ourselves to inventorying the cultivated plants and those that have spontaneously settled on the farm, and to find out the level of knowledge about these plants among the population of the villages closer to the farm. Thus, to assess the level of pressure that this flora may be under, especially since it is the only one that is well preserved inthe area.
