In this book Hump (or bump) is a common-shaped obstacle, which creates an adverse pressure gradient, and hence, there is a chance of separation downstream of a hump. This separation leads to an increase in the drag coefficient (Cd), which is undesirable. This body/shape has gained importance in recent times because there are many flow phenomena where the majority of loss occurs due to the separation over any protruding body or element on any flatbed. a) Includes the literature review, which consists of two subsections concentrating on hump and vortex generators describes the experimental methodology including flow. b) Configuration, instrumentation, and experimental procedure with data processing for the present investigation is the results and discussion section, c) Which gives details of the results obtained during the course of this study? Concludes the research, and suggests the possible advances in the current work for future studies.d) So hump can be treated as a slandered geometries body and is investigated in the present to analyze the effect of vortex generator to control the turbulent flow. e) The objective of the work is to experimentally find out the optimum location.
