Long considered an expert in the field dementia care, Suzanne's unique ability to comprehend the often complex needs arising from this diagnosis has helped guide thousands of families over the past 30 years. Her expertise has led to the development of numerous Alzheimer's and dementia-based curriculum aimed at training professionals. In her new book, Flowering Your Mind, she expertly weaves her two passions into a novel approach guiding readers on the connection between brain health and the natural world around us. Suzanne's unique designs, which combine her pen & ink illustrations with flowers grown and pressed from her garden on Cape Cod, resulted from her exposure to various pressing techniques used around the world. As a member of The Pressed Flower Guild of Great Britain, The International Pressed Flower Art Society and World Wide Pressed Flower Guild Suzanne has had the opportunity to travel around the world using her pressed floral techniques to bring joy through a medium that transcends the boundaries of language.
