ABOUT THE AUTHOR - Cecilia lives in Florida, she has been a banker for many years and has a deep passion about finance. She enjoys learning and teaching about the many different ways to help people with their unique financial situations. She believes that actual life lessons are not always taught in school. In her professional field, there are many adults who do not know what to do to make the best financial decisions. She wanted to start with the concept of money to young children early on. Her goal is to help parents introduce the ideas to their children in a way that they can understand. Money is a part of life. How we use money and what decisions we make with it can be instilled in us at a young age. ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR- Camilla was born and lives in Belluno, a little town surrounded by majestic mountains located in the North-East of Italy. She started working as an illustrator for children's books using traditional techniques, especially watercolors. Then she specialized in digital arts attending Nemo Academy of Digital Arts, in Florence. She is a creative artist whose drawings give life to cute, fanciful and joyful characters absorbed in their own magic, colorful worlds just like hers. Besides drawing, which she has enjoyed ever since she was a little child, she is a nature lover. She believes that her being in strict contact with nature feeds her imagination vividly and makes her feel free, happy. She truly loves everything that is cute, above all Dolce and Rosso, her two adorable cats. Among her strong passions, psychology and pedagogy are relevant too. If she were not an illustrator, she would probably be a kindergarten teacher. She loves children, she especially appreciates their spontaneity and the way they look at things in wonder. She hopes they delight in the color and fun of her illustrations to learn and grow up with good, warm feelings. In fact, she strongly believes that children's books can help us have strong, empathetic grown-ups able to fight against all types of discrimination. She will always do her best to illustrate educational, inclusive as well as full joy and love children's books!
