In the present work, negatively charged carbon dots have been synthesized from Guar Gum (GG) via microwave assisted synthesis. Their zeta potential was found to be -22.5 mV, thus indicating presence of negatively charged surface. Further more the CDs has been entrapped into the leaves of Spinacia oleracea and Brassica juncea leaf cells.
