Fluorosis is an endemic problem affecting different parts of the country. Fluoride toxicity can be manifested either as dental fluorosis or skeletal fluorosis. La dottoressa Priyadharsini Nataraj ha conseguito il B.D.S nel 2008 presso la TN MGR University e il M. D. S. nel 2011 presso la SRIHER. Attualmente lavora come lettore presso il Dipartimento di Patologia Orale dell'SRM Dental College, Ramapuram. Il fatto di risiedere in un'area nota per la fluorosi endemica ha affascinato il suo interesse per la ricerca sulla fluorosi.
