Dr. Mahesh Chougule unterrichtet seit 22 Jahren am Textil- und Ingenieurinstitut der D.K.T.E. Society in Ichalkaranji. Zurzeit arbeitet er als außerordentlicher Professor für Bauingenieurwesen. Er ist Mitglied vieler technischer Gremien und wurde mit zahlreichen Preisen ausgezeichnet. Er ist auch als Berater und Diplomingenieur tätig.
