Tracy Ellison, a middle-class African-American teen in 1980s Philadelphia, uses her personal brand of intimidating flattery to conquer one guy after another--until she meets her match. Meanwhile, Raheema, Tracy's girlfriend and neighbor, struggles to maintain good grades in school and to avoid the pressures to stray from the path she has chosen.
