S.R. Zalesny, the Author of Following Huck, was born in Cleveland, Ohio. He was brought West with his family when he was five. He grew up in Southern California and graduated from Loyola University. Stan is a former Explorer Scout and Marine. One of his greatest experiences was duplicating Huck Finn's raft adventure on the Mississippi. He currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada with his wife and family. He is the author of three books, a member of the Independent Writers of Southern California, and a recipient of The Readers Favorite Five Star Award for the Following Huck manuscript and the Indie B.R.A.G Medallion Award for his juvenile book, Jenny and the Hummingbird Faeries.
