In this groundbreaking book, Michelle Morand, Founder and Director of The CEDRIC Centre, gives readers a solid road map to recovery from their use of food as a coping strategy. Food is Not the Problem is filled with insights and tools that cover the three key areas of recovery: Your relationship with food; Your relationship with yourself; and Your relationship with others. Readers will find a wealth of practical information that will provide you with a solid, intuitive understanding of why your relationship with food is as it is, and what you can do to change it, forever. As Morand says, "There is always a reason for why you do what you do and, regardless of what you might believe it isn't because you're lazy or because you lack willpower!" Based on her own recovery experience from compulsive overeating and her 13 years as a specialist with her own counseling centre supporting hundreds of men and women each year to heal their relationship with food, this book is a comprehensive manual that outlines the path to recovery for anyone who uses food to cope. Whether you restrict, overeat, purge or a little of everything, Food is Not the Problem will show you why and most importantly, how to stop once and for all.
