My work examined the value of precautionary food labelling. My results showed that precautionary labelling is prevalent and ambiguous; consumers don't believe the statements; and consumers may not necessarily be undertaking a risk by consuming the products. I chose this area of research because I have four children who had food intolerances. Giovanni Antonio Zurzolo, the author holds a PhD in in public health. His research was based at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne Australia.His results was presented to the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology - World Allergy Organization (EAACI-WAO) at the World Allergy & Asthma Congress in Milan, Italy in 2013.
