He is the author of A Guide to Long Island Wine Country (2001), Newsday's Guide to the Wines of Long Island (1998), Dining Out with Newsday (1997, 1998), and co-author of Eats NYC (1995). Gianotti was born in Brooklyn. He lives on Long Island.
