Im Jahr 2016 begann die Autorin ihr Masterstudium in Produktionstechnik an der Bundesuniversität Rio Grande do Norte in der Forschungsrichtung Strategie und Qualität. Sie hat Erfahrung in den Bereichen Lebensmittelsicherheitsmanagement und Qualitätsmanagement.
