Er hat verschiedene Forschungsarbeiten für verschiedene Organisationen zu den Themen Landwirtschaftspolitik, Lücken zwischen Politik und Realität und Auswirkungen auf die Lebensgrundlage der Menschen, insbesondere die Erreichung der Ernährungssicherheit, durchgeführt. Er hat versucht, zusammengesetzte Instrumente der Ernährungssicherheit in der Forschung einzusetzen.
