Autorenporträt
Gabriela Steier is a lawyer, educator, speaker, and scholar focusing on food law and regulation. Her areas of focus are food system regulation in the EU and US, environmental and climate change law. She is a Part-Time Lecturer at Northeastern University, where she teaches several courses on food regulation, food safety modernization, and international food trade. She also teaches as an Adjunct Professor at the Duquesne University School of Law in Pittsburgh, and as a Visiting Professor at the University of Perugia, Italy. As Founder of FoodLawInternational.com, she manages a vast network, hosts lecture series, and promotes academic scholarship in her field. Adam Friedlander is a food scientist focused on modernizing food safety approaches within industry, academic and consumer communities. He is a Manager, Food Safety and Technical Services at FMI - The Food Industry Association. As a dynamic member of the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT), International Association for Food Protection (IAFP), Conference for Food Protection (CFP) and Association of Food and Drug Officials (AFDO), Adam collaborates with food industry experts to help keep the global food supply safe. He serves as an Ambassador with the Partnership for Food Safety Education (PFSE) to equip consumers with foundational food safety knowledge that helps reduce foodborne illness risk.
