Football is played between two teams opposing each other in the world today. Each team consists of eleven players. The duration of the game in the international contests is a period of 90 minutes of two halves of 45 minutes each. To play football is a good physical exercise, great source of entertainment and fosters team-spirit. Naturally, the game is encouraged and fostered among the students of schools and colleges. Competing in Football like any sport provide many health benefits, opportunity for player to improve their speed, agility, strength, hand-eye coordination, cardiovascular endurance, develop close relationships with others, develop team spirit, physical toughness, mental toughness, cross training activity, learn self discipline and strong development of work ethics. The game of football was introduced in India by the British Govt. in the last century and the first recorded game took place at Calcutta in 1854. Indian clubs were first admitted into organized competitions towards the latter part of the 19th century. In 1911 marked and historic sporting and colonial occasion for India. Indian football Association was formed in 1893 namely All India Football Federation.
