Produktbeschreibung
This study is based on the observation that JHS learners who study French need to work with a variety of media, which also allow them to view the foreign language they are learning in different contexts. Comic books are one such medium that is often not used enough by language teachers, and consequently learners have difficulties with written production based on this pedagogical medium. The study specifically questions the difficulties that prevent the second year learners of the Mount Mary Demonstration JHS from writing about comics. The work aims to elucidate the possible sources of this problem in order to suggest some approaches to remedy the situation. We propose in-service training for teachers on the use of comics in the EFL classroom. This training will allow teachers to continue to train to improve their skills and to adapt to new technologies, practices or methods applied to teach comics.
