The call to teach speaks to those who possess innate abilities to guide the minds, hearts and spirits of others. The classroom is a sacred space in which teachers create an environment of safety, kindness and acceptance so that learning occurs. This book is an offering of love, gratitude, inspiration and wisdom to teachers. May the words in this book remind you that the path you have been called to walk is an honourable one. May they serve as a well from which your minds, hearts and spirits may drink and receive encouragement and support each day. Thank you for answering your call to teach.

Autorenporträt
Georgina's call to teach spoke to her in childhood. It was sparked the moment her child fingers first held a piece of chalk and it touched the chalkboard her father had placed on a wall in their home. She loved attending grade school at St. Raphael's Catholic School in St. Thomas, Ontario. It was there she developed her love of reading and learning. At St. Joseph's Catholic High School, her passion for literature was awakened. She loved exploring the worlds created by authors who wrote about the human heart and relationships and their fragility and beauty. It was at King's University College at the University of Western Ontario that she studied literature and received her Bachelor of Arts. Upon receiving her Bachelor of Education from Althouse College at the University of Western Ontario, Georgina enjoyed 18 years teaching English literature to high school students. She taught 5 more years as an occasional teacher. She loved every moment in the classroom. Georgina is retired from teaching, but her heart still lives in the classroom with every teacher who is living their call to teach.
