Autorenporträt
Deborah was born in Kew, Victoria, Australia. Her mother soon moved her to Sydney, Australia. She grew up and schooled in Sydney, started a family at a young age, then moved to the beautiful seaside towns of the NSW South Coast. Deborah was always plagued with bitter memories of a traumatic childhood, but she vowed to love her children way beyond anything she had known or felt herself. Whilst raising her six children she would write down her deepest thoughts, feelings and emotions. There were times she would allow close friends to read her writing in which they were always left with a tear in their eye, and encouraged Deborah to continue writing and to have her work published, as it was too profound and touching to be kept hidden away. This idea resonated with the author as she knew others would be able to read her work and know they were not alone. The author has spent the last 10 years as a Disability Support Worker, and is now an Enrolled Endorsed Nurse. She is surrounded by boundless amounts of love and support from her wonderful grown children and seven beautiful grandchildren.
