José Cabada Delgado was born on January 30, 1935 in the port of Callao, located in Lima, Peru. He received the Order of Peace Award from the Institute of Development and Social Action in Lima in 1993 and the Civic Medal of the Municipality of La Victoria in Lima in 1996. He is a member of the College of Journalists.
