Sam Bosman thought his feet were firmly grounded, having landed a top job. But when cracks begin to form underneath him, threatening to reveal secrets and destroy his family, his daughter, Daisy, gets a dream in which the problem and its answer is revealed; through an imaginary friend, or so she thought. And that this medium of night visions and their importance would be the line by which close associates would be drawn together, as well as the cementing of good friendship. Persistent dreaming prompts Daisy to question the truth of God, as to what she read and heard. Her questions are answered when she comes face to face with her imaginary friend, on her way to boarding school to start secondary education. Her faith and belief is established through unplanned meetings thereafter, to her travelling to London to study and eventually becoming a member of his ministry. As a weighing scale, her life in London becomes a balancing act between her friends from University (Matilda, Lucy and Winifred) and her singing sisters at Church (Cecilia and Julie). During this period of friendship, the women go through excruciating experiences of unexpected happenings individually, but through faith and the adherence to dreams, they come through every trial and test thrown at them... with success.
Autorenporträt
Evelyn was born and brought up in Ghana in the 1960s. At an early age, her family moved to the Brong Ahafo Region, to a town near the borders of the northern part of the country. During her secondary education in the Eastern Region, she spent a lot of time travelling up and down the country, during which she witnessed many happenings, some of which form the foundation and pillars in her stories. On completing secondary education, Evelyn travelled to London to join her mother and to continue her education. She joined the Gentiles Revival Ministry to worship, shortly after her arrival, through an extended invitation. She later decided to make that ministry her permanent place of worship, due to the messages she heard--some of which are the building blocks of her book. She loves to read, travel and listen to gospel music.
