Virginia Hill, Ph.D. (1991), University of Geneva, is Professor of Linguistics at University of New Brunswick - Saint John. She has published books and many articles on Romanian syntax and the syntactic mapping of discourse pragmatics, including Vocatives: How Syntax meets with Pragmatics (Brill, 2014).
