This book contains a collection of papers presented at the European Conference on Formal Description of Slavic Languages 7.5 which took place in Moscow in December 2008. It brings together formal research from various areas of theoretical linguistics based on the data from Slavic languages. The papers in this book are organized into three parts. Part One includes nine papers in formal syntax and morphology of Slavic languages. Part Two is devoted to formal semantics and pragmatics and contains five papers. The Editors: Gerhild Zybatow is Professor of Slavic Linguistics at the Slavic Department at Leipzig University. Philip Dudchuk and Serge Minor are affiliated researchers at the Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics at Moscow State University. Ekaterina Pshehotskaya is a post-graduate Student at the Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics at Moscow State University.
