This book analyses EFL teachers' most important purposes in conducting formative assessment in adult and young adult classes, the most common methods of assessing listening, speaking, reading, and writing, and also the procedures of formative assessment; the sources of assessment questions, kinds of feedback and reporting, and the time devoted to evaluating the students. This book also addresses the differences in formative assessment purposes, methods, and procedures among EFL teachers of adult and young adult learners. It is indicated that there are some differences in purposes, methods, and procedures of formative assessment among teachers in adult and young adult EFL learners' classes.
