Quercetin loaded chitosan hydrogel beads were prepared via ionotropic gelation using sodium tripolyphosphate (TPP) as the gelling counter ion. chitosan hydrogel beads, different concentration of chitosan solution were prepared by dissolving the desire mass of chitosan in 1% (v/v) acetic acid. The prepared formulations were subjected to various physiochemical evaluation tests like Particle size analysis, Shape and surface morphology, Drug entrapment efficiency and In vitro drug release study was performed to determine the amount of Quercetin present in the Beads.
