Oral osmotic tablets are being attempted on certain drugs with a view to providing a constant release of the drug to achieve the desired therapeutic efficacy in clinical disorders. The results obtained with an osmotic pump of Didanosine that was developed and evaluated in the present study are encouraging. The percentage release was found to be 98.843% at the end of the twenty-three-hour study was found to be satisfactory.
