Turning forty is a wake-up call for Hazel Carlisle. All her friends are united in their pity and concern for her single state. It's now or never, girl! She's still attractive, but a tragedy in her past has marred her life, and now her romantic prospects are dimmer than ever. When a fascinating stranger makes advances, Hazel is sceptical but intrigued. Jeffrey Moncrieff is handsome and suave, worldly-wise, and definitely well-heeled. He seems to be the perfect gentleman, but he may just be too good to be true. A delicious short read and escape to the Amalfi Coast. About the Love After Forty Series An unashamedly romantic look at love after forty with a generous helping of luxurious decadence, a dash of mystery, and mouth-watering descriptions of gorgeous holiday destinations. The chapter featuring Sebastian and Christelle is a cross-over episode from my romantic suspense novel Silent Was The Spy. Each book in the series is a stand-alone and can be read independently. However, best to catch them in sequence. Book Three in the series is in the works.

Born in the Scottish Highlands, Robertson Tait writes romantic comedy and optimistic contemporary stories featuring imperfect but sensitive heroes and gorgeous, confident heroines, lovingly described locations, and some dry Scottish humour. The "Kyle in Hollywood" series draws upon his experiences as a British Actors' Equity member, his extensive travels, and twenty years of competitive horse riding. Also a singer songwriter, Robertson lives in the country with his wife and two demanding cats.
