Turning forty is a wake-up call for Hazel Carlisle. All her friends are united in their pity and concern for her single state. It's now or never, girl! She's still attractive, but a tragedy in her past has marred her life, and now her romantic prospects are dimmer than ever. When a fascinating stranger makes advances, Hazel is sceptical but intrigued. Jeffrey Moncrieff is handsome and suave, worldly-wise, and definitely well-heeled. He seems to be the perfect gentleman, but he may just be too good to be true. A delicious short read and escape to the Amalfi Coast. About the Love After Forty Series An unashamedly romantic look at love after forty with a generous helping of luxurious decadence, a dash of mystery, and mouth-watering descriptions of gorgeous holiday destinations. The chapter featuring Sebastian and Christelle is a cross-over episode from my romantic suspense novel Silent Was The Spy. Each book in the series is a stand-alone and can be read independently. However, best to catch them in sequence. Book Three in the series is in the works.
