Fostering and sustaining effective international partnerships is an important internationalization strategy for a post-secondary institution. To integrate the international dimension into the teaching, research, and service functions of the institution, many colleges and universities exchange scholars with their partner institutions overseas. However, too little is known about visiting scholars' experiences in a host institution and how such experiences affect the partnership between their home and host intuitions. By examining Chinese scholars' visiting experiences in a higher education institution in Canada, this book provides important insights for policy-makers, faculty and administrators in higher education, and international educators to gain a deeper understanding of the complex issues in strengthening and sustaining international partnerships.
