This Habilitationsschrift is a cumulative thesis, consisting of nine articles published in international journals and one article in a book. This thesis discusses a wide variety issues pertinent to public-private partnership for infrastructure development with emphasis on toll road and water supply sector within the Indonesia s context. These issues fall into six areas of focus: current PPP implementation, efficiencies of public utilities, critical success factors, risk management, project valuation, and government supports. Given the diversity of points of interest, different methodologies were also employed, ranging from statistical methods, mathematical modeling to computer simulations. Throughout the thesis, practical implications and directions for future research are identified.
