Editors, Rita Sanchez and Sonia Lopez, Professors of Chicana Women's Studies present the narratives of San Diego activists from the 1960s to the present, sixty-one stories by sixty-one authors. Scholars and activists themselves, the editors are members of the SDSU Love Library Chicana and Chicano Archives Committee part of an effort to preserve Mexican American history. They set out to make sure that more women in San Diego are honored for the work they have accomplished in promoting equal justice by giving recognition to women who have changed the world.
