Bill Spencer is founder and CEO of popedeflash.com, the first Flash community dedicated to 3D. Spencer is a well-known speaker, author, and artist. He has spoken at many new media conferences, including FlashForward and FlashKit in Australia and the US. He has served as author and technical reviewer for both New Riders and friends of ED. He has appeared in SHIFT magazine, World and I, and Computer Arts, along with other professional journals and periodicals as both an expert in his field and to showcase his work. Spencer¿s work has been nominated for the Flash Film Festival 2003. He has served as a beta tester for Macromedia, Electric Rain, and Discreet, and served as a technical advisor for Electric Image in the development of Amorphium Pro. Spencer is also a senior moderator at flashkit.com, a staff member of Flashdevils.com, and a moderator at ultrashock.com. Kristopher Honeycutt served as lead author of Foundation Swift 3D (1590592107) and returns to the role of co-author for the next evolution, Foundation Swift 3D v.4. Honeycutt began his journey into interactive media as a freelance designer, while still pursuing his education in graphic design and fine art photography. Now, nearly 10 years later, he has filled the roles of graphic designer, web/multimedia designer and creative director for companies in various fields of business. Currently retained as an in-house designer for a Japanese media firm, Honeycutt specializes in creating content for the web, wireless devices, disk media and broadcast. He also jointly started Solid Thinking Interactive, a design and development firm whose core services include interactive media design and Flash-based Rich Internet Application development. Honeycutt is an active member and moderator with several online design forums, like www.erain.com, and he can often be found giving and receiving guidance to fellow designers and Swift enthusiasts. With a passion that borders on obsession, Honeycutt can be found compiling example files (in response to user questions) and performing experimental work any time of day or night. Honeycutt is excited about participating in Swift 3D¿s evolution, while witnessing the influence of 3D on the web.
