Autorenporträt
Darlene Spicer lives in Fishers, Indiana, with her husband and two dachshunds, all three of whom helped inspire her book. Darlene's love for animals manifested itself early on in her life. She's always had dogs and even worked as a mini-dachshund breeder for a time. She's always talked about writing a children's book, and her husband told her to get on it! She wrote it for all her nieces and nephews. More than anything, she wants her book to point to God and share a meaningful story in a way that kids can understand and enjoy. Her time in ministry taught her how important it is to engage young minds in the wonder and awesomeness of our creator.
