Dr. Mita Tarafder, did PhD in Computer Science & Engineering from Jadavpur University, India in 2009 after doing post graduation in Computer Science from Cambridge University, UK in 1990. She is currently working as the senior principal scientist at the National Metallurgical Laboratory of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, India.
