Renee Propes resides in Gainesville, Georgia. The City of Gainesville - Hall County sits at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and is surrounded by Lake Sidney Lanier. The city became renowned internationally in 1996 when it hosted the Olympic Canoe and Kayak events at the Olympic Venue on Clarkesbridge Road. Renee was thirty-five years old when she started her first novel, duplicity - A Story of Deadly Intent. Upon retirement from a career in accounting, she edited the original twelve chapters, and with a determined perseverance, completed the book.
