This collection of articles had for framework of reflection some African poetic works of the French-speaking space. It was a question of showing in these poetic speeches not only their fragmentary character but also that they constitute the place where any form of passionate speech is drawn. Fragmentary writing is a free practice of inspiration and allows the writer to make the choice of his own literary language, to approach social phenomena of all kinds. It conveys social values for a change of mentalities. The passionate speech, as for him, highlights the expression of the affectivity and the circumstances of the subject in poetry. The semiotics of the passions convened in this study made it possible to decipher the affective marks and to bring to light its role in the social evolution or the emergence of the African societies.
