Andrea "Ande" Nilson is the spunky 28-year-old owner of "Picture This on Main" photography studio in the college town of Brookings, South Dakota. The petite gal spends her days photographing everyone from her favorite subjects - pets, to her least favorites-children. Being the most outspoken one in the group, Ande makes it her job to get the crew in line. But when a suspicious death occurs, she becomes the number one suspect, throwing herself into full detective mode in order to clear her name. In addition to sleuthing, Ande undergoes some highly comical photo shoots. She endures the odd behavior of the most peculiar local police officer, reunites with her best friend, and meets a handsome child wrangler. Will she find the murderer and clear her name or will she forever be framed fur murder?

Martha Kemm Landes is a former music teacher who wrote numerous musicals and hundreds of songs for her students while teaching music in Oklahoma. She is most known for writing the Oklahoma State Children's song, 'Oklahoma My Native Land'.Martha retired early and lives with her author husband and two adopted dogs just outside of Albuquerque, New Mexico. They enjoy spending time at their cabin in the nearby Jemez Mountains and traveling the world. Most recently, they made it to their seventh continent, Antarctica! Besides writing mystery novels, and renting out their cabin, Martha quilts, bargain shops and plays pickleball. She finds the weather in New Mexico perfect for hiking, biking, gardening and hosting movies in their outdoor theater.
