This book presents the framework for diagnosis of chronic myeloid leukemia (CML). The framework comprises of layers such as knowledge identification, knowledge acquisition, knowledge synthesis, knowledge formalization and knowledge alignment. The framework prescribes how the diagnosis of CML is done and a flow chart which describes the diagnosis procedure is presented. Thus, this framework when fully implemented can diagnose CML accurately, and on the other hand can be adopted for other types of leukemia. It is worthy of note that CML as a blood disease is more prevalent in Nigeria than the other types of leukemia in adults from ages 40 and above.
