The book emphasizes the necessity of good governance and the role of leadership to highlight the difficulties faced by the Madibeng Local Municipality in providing services in the North West Province of South Africa. The objective was to create a framework that will assist the municipality to provide affective and high-quality services. The aim was further to pinpoint the factors that obstruct effective service provision. A qualitative research method was used, and the study was conducted in the Letlhabile Township, Ward 9. The results indicated that the main factors affecting effective service delivery include a lack of knowledgeable and experienced managers and leaders, a lack of accountability for financial fraud, a lack of effective leadership and dedicated management, and a lack of adequate resource allocation. Both Batho-Pele principles and work ethics were disregarded by municipal personnel. These insights will help the local government administration to obtain customer satisfaction by enhancing service delivery. The study concludes with the presentation of a framework that could address the areas where the local government was lacking.
